Celebrating the IXth Foundation Day of ICAR-ATARI, Umiam! 24th June 2025 | Umiam, Meghalaya From the warm registration and welcome of delegates, to the vibrant exhibition stalls, the day began with energy and excitement. The ceremonial opening featured a green inauguration by watering saplings , inspiring addresses by esteemed guests from ICAR, NABARD, and the Government of Meghalaya, and the soulful rendition of the ICAR Song. Deka, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AAU, and heartfelt tributes to our former Director. Chief Guest Dr. M. Ampareen Lyngdoh, Honourable Minister, delivered a visionary inaugural address that set the tone for future strides in agriculture and rural development in the region. After a refreshing lunch, the event resumed with: Reflections by former Directors Opinions from KVK hosts across states Scientist–KVK Interface Insights from award-winning farmers And an energetic cultural programme followed by a delightful network dinner under the stars.
