The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Umiam, Meghalaya is organizing Hindi Pakhwada (Hindi Fortnight) from 19th to 29th September 2025 to promote the use of the Hindi language and create awareness about its significance as the official language of India. The celebrations will include a series of competitions and activities aimed at encouraging participation and fostering a deeper connection with Hindi. The event embodies the theme: "Hind (India) is my country, Hindi is my mother tongue; this is the definition of Hindi." This celebration serves as a platform to acknowledge the importance of Hindi in uniting the nation and promoting effective communication within government institutions and society at large.
